It began with a conversation, or rather, a series of them. Sedona-based astrologer Shana Eva of Heart On Radio opened a door for STAR CODE Alchemy founder Barbara Hudak into the living language of astrology. Not astrology as a party trick or a personality quiz, but as a genuine map of the soul. A system for understanding the archetypal forces that shape who we are, how we move through the world, and what we are here to do.

That exploration planted a seed. And then, in late June, the seed was watered in the most unexpected way.

Robin Harrington, Spa Director at Amara Resort & Spa, one of Sedona's most beloved luxury properties, approached Barbara with a vision: a Signature Zodiac massage, rooted in the energy of each astrological sign, anchored by a custom essential oil blend. Robin wanted something that felt truly Sedona, intentional, elevated, and alive with the kind of energy this land is known for.

Barbara said yes. And the Astrology Cosmic Archetype Collection was born.

What Is the Lion's Gate Portal?

The Lion's Gate portal occurs every year when the Sun is in Leo and Sirius, the brightest star in the night sky, known across ancient cultures as the "Spiritual Sun," rises in alignment with the Earth and the Sun. This alignment peaks on August 8th, creating what astrologers and mystics have long described as a powerful gateway of high-frequency energy, amplified manifestation, and accelerated spiritual awakening.
